Bursaries for Medicine - David Hepburn Study Award – Bi Annual

PLEASE NOTE: Only offered at Universities of Wits, Stellenbosch, UCT, KwaZulu-Natal (Medical) and Limpopo (MEDUNSA).

Who can apply: Medicine - Kidney Disease.

For suitably QUALIFIED doctors, nurses, dieticians and para­medical personnel REGISTERED in SA. For study at an appropriate research institute, university department or recognised renal unit either in SA or overseas. Applicant must have been accepted for his! her research or study project.

If the course is overseas, successful candidate must undertake to return to SA on completion of the project, for a minimum period of three years. Preference given to candidates under 50 years of age.

The award will be up to R30 000 every second year i.e. 2012, 2014, and may be divided between two or more candidates, at the discretion of the judges.

Closing date: 31 July 2012 - for return of completed forms. Award offered every second year i.e. 2012, 2014.
