South African Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (AIS) Support Group

I coordinate a support group for people in and around South Africa with DSDs like AIS, CAIS, Swyer's Syndrome, CAH, 5-alpha-reductase Deficiency, Testicular Dysgenesis/Agenesis, Vaginal Agenesis, MRKH, Mixed Gonadal Dysgenesis, etc.

The support group was initiated in order to provide a forum where women affected by such a condition, can meet each other, anonymously or face to face. The aim is to boost the morale of affected individuals who often live in secrecy, shame and can feel extremely alienated.
