Our rheumatologists include a rheumatologist that has worked abroad in several countries in the first world. First world standards of medical care are practiced. The newer biologic treatments in the rapidly advancing field of rheumatology can be discussed with patients. 

During the lengthy first consultation a comprehensive history and examination is done to cover all the various organ systems because rheumatological diseases can encompass multi systemic / multi organ diseases (it is not confined to only the joints, and may spread beyond the joints to the organs e.g. lungs, eyes, heart, skin, kidneys, bowel, brain etc).

We offer a specialist rheumatology service that is not based in a hospital environment. During this Covid pandemic you might feel more at ease to avoid a hospital environment, especially if you feel your immune system might be suppressed (e.g., a rheumatological autoimmune disease being treated with immuno suppressive medication or you may have other reasons for a suppressed immune system).
