Critical Care Society of Southern Africa

The Critical Care Society of Southern Africa (CCSSA) is a not-for-profit organisation for professional doctors and nurses in Critical Care Medicine founded in South Africa in the late 1970s. The Society is administered by volunteers from the professional community. A copy of the society constitution can be dowloaded here.

The Society has maintained an online presence at since 2002. This site is intended as a source of information for current and prospective members of the society as well as other medical professionals both within Southern Africa and internationally. Information on upcoming events can be found here as well as supplementary materials made available by presenters from these events (where applicable).
